I had the absolute BEST experience with Alona at Essence Beauty Lounge KC. She was very professional, informational, and provided tips on what I can use on my natural hair as well as how to keep up with my closure sew in. Essence Beauty Lounge KC is BEAUTIFUL and in the perfect location. Alona was on time and got me on & out. She's super reasonable and did a BOMB job on my hair, I mean it looks AMAZING! It looks natural and I can't imagine going elsewhere. She has a client forever!!!!

Alona has been my stylist for over a year now. I really wanted someone that was located in the northland. She is one of the most professional, kind, and patient stylist that I have met. My hair looks flawless after every visit! My hair is also the healthiest it’s ever been in a long time. She explains the methods she uses on my hair and often gives great advice on maintenance. I wanted to take some time before writing this review to make it as honest as possible. I have been going to Leyla for 3-4 months now and I can honestly see DRAMATIC improvements in my skin health. Not only does Leyla offer a variety of different facial packages, she also will help to educate you on how to better take care of your skin on a day to day basis (products, skin care routines, common culprits that cause skin issues). The private atmosphere of Leyla's office, her personality, and her outstanding service make me extremely excited for every appointment that I have with her. I highly recommend Leyla !!!!

I JUST got my hair done by Alona and this one of my best installs ever!
I’m new to the area, and had to get my hair done ASAP. Booking was easy and online, and quick. Literally booked an appointment in less than 24 hours and Alona was READY to go. No fuss complaints. Booked, paid my deposit, and walked in and sat immediately down. She had braiding hair ready, and had multiple needles pre-threaded before I sat down in the chair so there was literally no delay at any point of the process.
She verified what I wanted from the information I provided, including the reference picture!
She’s a real professional! Super customer oriented and asked me multiple questions to get confirmation of my vision throughout the whole process. Before she lays hands on your scalp, she confirms every detail.
Plus easy to talk to, and one of the sweetest people! AND CRAZY TALENTED! This hair and install was amazing.
I’ll definitely be getting my hair styled next week— but she’s an amazing stylist! Highly recommend!
